The other night, I decided on stir fry. I bought a bag of frozen shrimp from Central Market, picked up a few other items, and cooked it up. It was pretty delish. Check it out.
3 cloves garlic, sliced
1/2 parsnip, peeled & sliced
1/2 celery root, peeled & sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 c red cabbage, sliced
1 c baby bok choy, sliced
1 tbsp ginger, peeled & sliced
First, I sautéed the shrimp in a but of coconut oil & some of the garlic
I like my shrimp pretty well done, so I let it go until it was a little crispy.
Next, I sautéed the veggies. I started with garlic, parsnip, celery and celery root. I let them go until they were soft.
Meantime, husband started on the noodles. I had been told of these Buckwheat Noodles at Central by one of my clients a few weeks ago and I had been meaning to try them.
While those were underway, I combined the veggies and shrimp.
The noodles were pretty simple. Husband combined them with a little sesame oil and water. Then he warmed them in a sauté pan.
Then we combined all ingredients.
