Inspired by a tweet I stumbled across yesterday, I created a new smoothie this morning. And I must say, it was quite delicious. Daisy (my 2 year old) wanted seconds if that tells you anything.
- 2 clementine oranges
- 1 frozen banana, 1 fresh
- 2 cups of organic spinach
- a handful of dried cherries
- a dash of vanilla powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg
- 1/2 c of green tea
- 1 c of coconut milk (unsweetened)
The warming elements of the spices, the sweetness of the fruits and the heartiness of the spinach combine to make something altogether magical. Enjoy!!
